Under the leadership of Harchand Singh Barsat, the Chairman of the Punjab Mandi Board, a special event was organized today at the main office of the Mandi Board. During this, Mr. Inderjit Singh, Mr. Balwinder Singh, Mr. Balkar Bhokhra, Baljit Singh, Mr. Sukhwinder Singh, Mr. Gurditta Singh Sandhu, Mr. Baljinder Singh, Mr. Karnail Singh, and Mr. Harpreet Singh, who joined the Board of Directors, have taken over their respective charges.

On this occasion, Mr. Harchand Singh Barsat congratulated all the new members and treated them with sweets, encouraging them to work for the benefit of farmers and the public. He stated that the Punjab government is bringing forward honest, impartial, and progressive thinkers to serve the people of the state.

This appointment of the members today is in line with this ideology. The Chairman expressed hope that the new members would ensure the welfare of farmers and the public and would help in delivering various government schemes to the people.

During this, the newly appointed members thanked Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and Punjab Mandi Board Chairman Mr. Barsat, saying that they will fulfill the responsibilities entrusted to them by the government with full diligence and honesty.

On this occasion, Secretary of the Mandi Board, Mrs. Amrit Kaur Gill, Chairman of the Punjab State Warehousing Corporation Mr. Gurdev Singh, Chairman of the District Planning Board Tarn Taran Mr. Gurvinder Singh, Chairman of the Improvement Trust Tarn Taran Mr. Rajinder Singh Usman, Engineer-in-Chief Mr. Gurdeep Singh, Chief Engineer Mr. Jatinder Singh Bhangoo, Chief Engineer Mr. Gurinder Singh Cheema, Chief Operating Officer Mr. Paramjit Singh, D.G.M. Marketing Mr. Swarn Singh, along with other officials were present.

पंजाब मंडी बोर्ड के चेयरमैन हरचंद सिंह बरसट के नेतृत्व में आज मंडी बोर्ड के मुख्य कार्यालय में विशेष कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। इसमें मंडी के बोर्ड आफ डायरेक्ट्रस में शामिल हुए श्री इंद्रजीत सिंह, श्री बलविंदर सिंह, श्री बलकार भोखरा, श्री बलजीत सिंह, श्री सुखविंदर सिंह, श्री गुरदित्ता सिंह संधू, श्री बलजिंदर सिंह, श्री करनैल सिंह और श्री हरप्रीत सिंह ने अपना पद्भार ग्रहण कर लिया।

इस मौके पर स. हरचंद सिंह बरसट ने सभी नए मेंबर्स को बधाई देते हुए उनका मुंह मीठा करवाया और उन्हें किसानों और लोगों के हित में काम करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया। उन्होंने कहा कि पंजाब सरकार लोगों की सेवा के लिए राज्य में ईमानदार, निष्पक्ष और प्रगतिशील सोच वाले नेताओं को लोगों की सेवा के लिए आगे ला रही है।

इसी सोच के अंतर्गत आज इन सदस्यों की नियुक्ति की गयी है। चेयरमैन ने उम्मीद जताई कि नए सदस्य किसानों और लोगों के कल्याण को सुनिश्चित करेंगे और विभिन्न सरकारी योजनाएं लोगों तक पहुंचाएंगे। इस दौरान नवनियुक्त सदस्यों ने मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत सिंह मान और पंजाब मंडी बोर्ड के चेयरमैन स. बरसट का धन्यवाद करते हुए कहा कि सरकार ने उन्हें जो जिम्मेदारी सौंपी है, उसे वे पूरी मेहनत और ईमानदारी से निभाएंगे।

इस अवसर पर मंडी बोर्ड की सचिव श्रीमति अमृत कौर गिल, पंजाब स्टेट वेयर हाउसिंग कार्पोरेशन के चेयरमैन स. गुरदेव सिंह, जिला योजना बोर्ड तरनतारन के चेयरमैन स. गुरविंदर सिंह, इंप्रूवमेंट ट्रस्ट तरनतारन के चेयरमैन स. रजिंदर सिंह उसमां, इंजीनियर-इन-चीफ स. गुरदीप सिंह, चीफ इंजीनियर स. जतिंदर सिंह भंगू, चीफ इंजीनियर स. गुरिंदर सिंह चीमा, चीफ ओपरेटिंग अफसर स. परमजीत सिंह, डी.जी.एम. मार्केटिंग स. स्वर्ण सिंह सहित समूह अधिकारी मौजूद रहे।

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਮੰਡੀ ਬੋਰਡ ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਸ. ਹਰਚੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਰਸਟ ਦੀ ਅਗੁਵਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਜ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਮੰਡੀ ਬੋਰਡ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੰਡੀ ਬੋਰਡ ਦੇ ਬੋਰਡ ਆਫ਼ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰਜ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਏ ਨਵੇਂ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਵੱਜੋਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਇੰਦਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਬਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਬਲਕਾਰ ਭੋਖੜਾ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਬਲਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਸੁਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰਦਿੱਤਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੰਧੂ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਬਲਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਕਰਨੈਲ ਸਿੰਘ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਅਹੁਦਾ ਸੰਭਾਲਿਆ।

ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਸ. ਹਰਚੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਰਸਟ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੁੰਹ ਮਿੱਠਾ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਿੱਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਸੂਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਮਾਨਦਾਰ, ਨਿਰਪੱਖ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਗਤੀਸ਼ੀਲ ਸੋਚ ਵਾਲੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਲਈ ਅੱਗੇ ਲਿਆ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸੇ ਸੋਚ ਤਹਿਤ ਅੱਜ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਿਯੁਕਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।

ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਨੇ ਉਮੀਦ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਈ ਕਿ ਨਵੇਂ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਲਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸਕੀਮਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਪੁੱਜਦੀਆਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਨਵਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਮੰਡੀ ਬੋਰਡ ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਸ. ਬਰਸਟ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੋ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਸੌਂਪੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਨਦੇਹੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਮਾਨਦਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਭਾਵਾਂਗੇ।
