AAP Di Sarkar AAP De Dwar Camps Facilitate 4786 Residents in SAS Nagar District

‘AAP Di Sarkar AAP De Dwar’ Camps have been proving  a boon for the residents who were facing problems approaching Government Offices for one or another reason in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar District. As many as 4786 residents have been facilitated in the camps, by the previous day, said the Deputy Commissioner, Mrs Aashika Jain, here, today.

She said that the concept brought forward by the Punjab Chief Minister S.  Bhgawant Singh Mann is aimed at disposing of the problems related to the Government Offices at their doorsteps. She said that earlier 44 services were launched by the Punjab Chief Minister under the scheme of door-to-door delivery of services. The services under this scheme can be availed of by dialling a toll-free number 1076.

The camps being organized under ‘AAP Di Sarkar AAP De Dwar’ have a step ahead to bring all departments to a village or ward under one roof and get the work done on the spot.  “We have conducted 130 camps so far in the district and the total number is 422 that we have to cover.”

She said the Sub Divisional Magistrates, Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars and Block Development and Panchayat Officers have been assigned the task of Nodal officers of each camp by adding that each Sub Divisions have a minimum of four camps a day. She said that the data is being entered online so that the monitoring could be done properly. 

The services that are being given in the camps included services related to Birth and Death certificates, Certificates of SC,BC, OBC and General caste and resident (personal), Monthly Assistance Schemes (Old age pensions etc.) by Social Security Department, Marriage Registration, Affidavit Attestation, Inspection of Revenue Records, Certified Copies of registered & unregistered  documents (copying service), Non-Encumbrance Certificate, Equity Entry of Mortgage, Fard Generation, Countersigning of Documents, Indemnity Bond, Border Area Certificate, Backward Area Certificate , Demarcation of Land , Counter Signing of Documents of NRI , Counter Signing of Police Clearance Certificate and Kandi Area Certificate (Revenue), Stipend to Children of Beneficiaries, Registration of Construction Worker and Renewal of Construction worker (Labour), Income and Asset Certificate(EWS), Shagun  Scheme (For Sanction of Case) Application for Disability Certificate/UDID card, Electricity Bill Payment (Power) and Rural Area Certificate (Rural) etc.

Exhorting the residents to come to their nearby camps, she said that the camps have a satisfactory footfall and the entrants have been expressing gratitude to the administration for reaching out to them with the various departments. She said that these camps also have LED Vans that depict welfare schemes and public-oriented achievements.
