Shark Tank India Season 3: The "WYLD" Influencing Business Model To The Sharks

As the first social currency payment card in history, WYLD has achieved a remarkable victory on Shark Tank. While promoting their Visa-powered prepaid card designed only for Instagram users, Wyld talked about how the notion of appearing on Shark Tank was floated and dismissed early in the previous year. 

But that is until they got a call from the show's staff indicating interest in their business. Their goal started to come true after extensive and rigorous application processes, and they were all ready to appear on Shark Tank Season 3.

WYLD announced their impending appearance on Shark Tank on Instagram. They posted to their fans, "Get ready as we pitch our influencing business model to the Sharks!" and were met with a lot of positive feedback.

WYLD Pitch to the Sharks Judges

Yash Sakhlecha, Rij Eappen, and Dishant Sanghvi discussed their creative company ideas during their Shark Tank India season 3 appearance. The creators began their presentation by discussing the necessity of the card and how it will provide influencers with greater opportunities to make money. Influencers may use their website to apply for the card, and if approved, they can shop at partner businesses and share a picture of their purchases to get cash incentives. At a valuation of INR 100 crores, the founders then wanted INR 50 lakhs for a 0.5% share.

Before the Sharks, It's Time to Impact the Team 

Naturally, the production crew was pleased with the applications and the video audition. It was time for a live audition now. Here, more than a strong script was needed. Our arsenal needed to include script delivery, screen friendliness, and a healthy dose of entertainment value. We were interrogated by the Shark Tank India Season 3 crew about our origins, prospective shark questions, values, figures, and more. It was a preparatory crash course!

WYLD's Amazing Business Journey

Since its establishment in 2021, WYLD has accomplished notable benchmarks. During the closed Alpha testing period, the platform, which partners with more than 200 businesses in several verticals, handled 700 transactions totaling more than Rs. 10 Lakhs. Using only 100 users, WYLD has produced 500 pieces of content with an 85% retention rate.
