Haryana Home and Health Minister Anil Vij said that previous governments installed false boards in Ambala Cantonment to loot through false praises, but as soon as our government came, we demonstrated our work on the ground, and now continuous development work has been going on in Ambala Cantonment for the past nine years.Sh. Vij was the chief guest at the program organized under the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in B.C. Bazaar and Lal Kurti in Ambala today. He was welcomed by the  people at both locations with garlands.

Home and Health Minister Anil Vij said that whether it is the construction of Ambala-Saha Road or the new grain market. Previous governments deceived the people of Ambala Cantonment by false hoarding and laying stones. But with the arrival of the BJP government, they built a new grain market and declared Ambala-Saha Road a National Highway, making it new.

While administering the oath of 'Hamara Sankalp Viksit Bharat’ he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's guaranteed vehicle is traveling everywhere, and people are benefiting from the Yatra while sitting at home. During these programs held in various areas, people are being provided with pensions, Ayushman cards, gas cylinders under the Ujjwala scheme, loans, and many other benefits.

He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Manohar Lal, many schemes have been implemented by the central and state governments, which have improved the living standards of the needy people. He praised the stalls set up here and appreciated the projects related to science and equipment made by students.

Nearly 150 Dharamshalas have been built for people's social activities – Vij

Home Minister Anil Vij said that nearly 150 Dharamshalas have been built in Ambala Cantonment for people to carry out their social activities. He said that the Congress's former prime ministers used to say that only one rupee is sent from the center, which reaches only 15 paise to the person standing at the last mile. 

However, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has eradicated this problem, and today, the money is directly reaching the beneficiaries' accounts. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Manohar Lal have implemented such schemes that are benefiting the beneficiaries.

In the hospital where there was no plaster, plastic surgery is now taking place – Vij

Health Minister Anil Vij said that the wheel of development is continuously moving in Ambala Cantonment. In the cantonment, built a well-equipped civil hospital with many facilities. During the previous governments, there was not even a plaster in the civil hospital, but today, plastic surgery is being done in the new civil hospital.

Here, modern medical facilities, including MRI, ultrasound, plastic surgery, heart treatment, along with other facilities are available. Through the Atal Cancer Care Center, people from states including Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, are benefiting. Earlier, people used to go to Chandigarh or other places for treatment, but now people are coming to Ambala Cantonment for treatment.

Home Minister Anil Vij, while sharing an incident from the stage, said that some people told him that the youth of Ambala Cantonment does not want to get married because there is no place to roam here. As soon as the BJP government came, he made Subhash Park, and today people from Chandigarh are coming to see the park.

Just a few days ago, a Punjabi movie was also shoot in this park. Now there is plenty of space here for people to roam.Young people should not fall into the wrong company, stay away from drugs, and channel their positive energy into the right work.For this, an international-level football stadium, All Weather Swimming Pool, Gymnastics Hall have been built. 

For the convenience of the people, a mini-secretariat has been built, with more than 30 offices under one roof. Near B.C. Bazaar, Bank Square Shopping Mall, Fire Brigade Office, and their residences, construction of Ambala-Saha Road, Night Food Street Market, and other development works have also been carried out.

Ambala's status will increase with the construction of the airport – Vij

Home Minister Anil Vij said that Ambala's status will increase with the construction of the airport. Earlier, Gurugram was just a barren land, but when the airport was built there, the market received a boost, and today Gurugram has become one of the selected cities in the country. He informed that the construction work of the airport is progressing rapidly in Ambala Cantonment, and soon, air services will start from here as well.
