Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla launches cleanliness drive at Jakhu Temple

Under the 'Swachh Teerth Abhiyan', Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla today launched a cleaning campaign in the premises of the famous religious place Shri Hanuman Ji Temple in Jakhu, Shimla. On the occasion, Lady Governor Janaki Shukla also took part in the cleanliness drive. The Governor urged the people to ensure cleanliness in temple premises and religious places and to participate in the cleanliness campaign on the occasion.

Earlier, the Governor paid obeisance at Shri Hanuman Ji Temple. Secretary to the Governor Rajesh Sharma, Deputy Commissioner Shimla Aditya Negi, other offices of the district administration, sanitation workers of Municipal Corporation Shimla, members of temple committee and tourists also participated in the campaign.
