Strongly disapproving the event involving Shiv Sena, Member Parliament Rajan Vichare forcing Muslim catering supervisor to break his fast, the CPI (M) State Secretary Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami has said the incident is most disgusting and warrants a stern action under law.In a statement issued to KNS, Tarigami while condemning the incident strongly said the episode has laid bare the nefarious designs of Sangh Parivar and its allies who believe in attacking religious faith of other communities.

“People have a freedom to practice their religion and this episode of extreme intolerance involving Shiv Sena MP has exposed the rabid mentality of Sangh Parivar this is hell bent to bring shame to the country’s democratic and secular ethos,” Tarigami observed. The CPI (M) leader said that the incident has negated the constitutional guarantees thus extending a warning message loaded with dangerous consequences for the whole of country.Tarigami remarked that incident as not only shocking but the same is cutting at the root of secularism. “Through this abominable and ghastly act, the faith of minorities has been tarnished. The BJP government if true in its assertion that it’s government will go by constitution rather than RSS dictates should forthrightly condemn this disgraceful action of Shiv Sena MP and should act against him under law,” he demanded.
