Hyderpora Man Murdered in Kralpora

Agitated protestors disrupted the movement of traffic after the news about the murder of a local man spread in Hyderpora.Police sources told CNS that the blood soaked body of one Muhammad Yousuf Bangroo resident of Hyderpora Srinagar was recovered by people at Kralpora Chadoora during morning hours on Wednesday. Police said that the brother of the deceased namely Muhammad Abdullah Bangroo was also found in serious condition by locals who was later shifted to SKIMS for treatment.“Abdullah is an important eyewitness and we will record his statement once he regains his conscience,” a police official told CNS adding that the injured fellow is out of danger.Meanwhile, the son of the deceased told CNS that his father was murdered by three brokers and his uncle (Abdullah) will expose them once he regains conscience.

“The three brokers threatened my father of dire consequences on mobile phone last night. We had some land dispute with these brokers and my father and uncle had gone to Kralpora to meet these men,” Mubashir said adding that police should arrest all these brokers.Locals at Hyderpora staged a massive protest and demanded immediate arrest of the murderers. To pacify the protestors top police and administrative officials reached on spot while National Conference MLA Nasir Aslam Wani assured people that culprits will be booked without any delay.After the assurances given by police and MLA, the protestors dispersed

peacefully.
