As artificial intelligence continues to advance, the deepfake issue is gaining prominence. Following the controversies surrounding actresses Rashmika Mandana and Katrina Kaif, Kajol has now become the latest victim of deepfake manipulation. An Internet influencer has morphed the face of the 'K3G' actress onto her own, raising concerns about the misuse of AI technology.

The manipulated clip initially surfaced in June this year when influencer Rosie Breen shared it on TikTok as part of the 'Get Ready With Me' trend. However, the video recently resurfaced, reigniting worries about the implications of deepfake technology.

In this particular video, Breen's face is seamlessly replaced with that of Kajol. The clip depicts the 'My Name Is Khan' actress changing clothes on camera, with Kajol's face digitally altered into the video. The manipulated video briefly features the original woman's face before transitioning back to the altered version.

Similar instances have been observed in the cases of Rashmika Mandanna and Katrina Kaif. In Rashmika Mandanna's case, a deepfake video showcased a woman, dressed in black, entering a lift, with her face manipulated to resemble the actor. Meanwhile, a digitally altered image of Katrina Kaif from her film 'Tiger 3' stirred controversy, depicting the actress engaged in a fight scene with a stuntwoman while clad in a towel. The manipulated version replaced the towel with a low-cut white top and matching bottom.
