CGC Jhanjeri's Chandigarh Law College Hosts 1st National level Moot Court Competition

Chandigarh Law College at CGC Jhanjeri organized its First National Moot Court Competition in collaboration with Rotaract club.  Symbiosis Law School from Hyderabad and Pune, Amity from Rajasthan and Punjab, Christ from Bangalore and Delhi, Campus Law Centre in Delhi, Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law in Patiala, and the Department of Laws at Panjab University, Chandigarh & more than 35 teams from leading law colleges across the nation.

The competition comprised five intense rounds, including two Preliminary Rounds, one Quarterfinal Round, one Semifinal, and a thrilling Final Round. Young legal minds showcased their advocacy talents, legal acumen, and dedication to the art of moot court proceedings.

The competition was graced by prominent legal personalities such as Adv Shourya Mehra, Adv Tara Chand, and Adv Anil Mehta and other 35 eminent legal luminaries from the Honorable Punjab & Haryana High Court, who presided as judges in various courtrooms.Their expertise and insights added a layer of authenticity and rigor to the competition, allowing students to experience real-world legal proceedings and receive valuable feedback. 

Their presence added prestige and credibility to the competition, inspiring the young participants and reaffirming the significance of such initiatives in shaping future legal professionals. It was a testimony to the institution's dedication to promoting legal education and excellence in the field of law.
