In response to escalating concerns regarding the soaring levels of air pollution in Delhi NCR and its neighboring regions, singer-rapper Harrdy Sandhu has opted to reschedule his upcoming performance in the national capital. This decision aligns with government regulations aimed at curbing the escalating pollution levels in the city.

Initially, in October, Harrdy had unveiled an extensive tour titled ‘In My Feelings,’ encompassing seven cities, including Delhi NCR, Indore, Mumbai, Jaipur, Pune, Kolkata, and Bhubaneshwar, as part of the first leg of his tour.

Given that the Air Quality Index (AQI) has now reached 'extremely poor' levels in Delhi, surpassing 350 as per the Central Pollution Control Board's National Air Quality Index calculations, Harrdy has taken a proactive step.

Sharing his decision on social media, the 'Naah' singer expressed, “It is with a heavy heart that I inform that our upcoming show in Gurgaon on November 18 will have to be rescheduled. The rising pollution levels and government regulations aimed to curb the same have made it essential for us to prioritize safety.”

Assuring his fans, he added, "I assure everyone we are working on finding a new date that works for everyone. Your safety is my top priority, and I can't wait to share the stage with you when the conditions are right.”

While the rescheduled date for the Gurgaon show is yet to be announced, it appears unlikely to take place in November or even December due to the continuously deteriorating air quality. A recurring phenomenon during November in Delhi and its neighboring areas, the pollution is predominantly attributed to stubble burning in Punjab, resulting in a harmful smog that adversely affects respiratory health.

As of the latest update, the AQI in Delhi NCR stands at its worst, fluctuating from 'extremely poor' to 'hazardous' in most areas.
