Kishtwar Administration gears up for Back to Village Phase-V (B2V5)
Training Program conducted to sensitise Prabhari/Visiting Officers about their Roles & Responsibilities

To sensitize the visiting/prabhari officers deputed for Back to Village Phase-V (B2V5) about their roles and responsibilities, the District Administration Kishtwar today organized a training program in the Conference Hall of DC Office Complex . The training program was presided over by ADDC Kishtwar, Sham Lal.
The fifth phase of the B2V-5 program is scheduled for 14-16th November 2023 in the district, involving 136 visiting officers from 136 Panchayats of 13 Blocks of Kishtwar district under Phase first. Highlighting the objectives of the 'Back to Village'-V program, ADDC said that visiting officers act as mentors for their respective Panchayats, bridging the gap between the public and the government.
They must ensure the achievement of specified deliverables in the Panchayats without failure. The ADDC instructed visiting officers to saturate centrally sponsored and self-employment schemes, register unemployed youth during Gram Sabhas, raise awareness about available e-services, inspect public works, assess their quality, and submit observations.
Encouraging officers to take feedback on digital services and recent developments, the ADDC emphasized listening to and engaging with the local community, understanding local issues, challenges, and collaborating with local authorities.Prioritizing transparency and accountability is crucial, ensuring all community sections, including marginalized groups, benefit from development projects.
ADDC Kishtwar also sensitized visiting officers about various activities during the B2V5 program, including saturation of pension cases, organizing sports events, health camps for identification and screening of health conditions, formulating GPDP plans, reviewing ongoing schemes, hosting employment melas, and conducting mutation camps in each Panchayat.
The master trainers detailed the roles, responsibilities, and activities during the Back to Village-5 program, addressing queries from participants in an interactive session.Master trainers, (District Resource Persons) Joint Director Planning Mohd Iqbal, ACD Kishtwar Manoj Kumar, DPO Sunil Bhutyal sensitized the Visiting Officers about their role, responsibilities and activities in detail during the Back to Village-5 programme.
They briefed the Visiting officers about the objective and salient features of the B2V-5 and asked them to strictly adhere to the prescribed guidelines of the programme.During the interactive session, the participants raised various queries pertaining to the programme and Master Trainers cleared their doubts on-the-spot.
