DDC Chairperson Ramban inaugurates Open Gym at Sangaldan

Chairperson, District Development Council Ramban, Dr. Shamshad Shan today inaugurated an Open Gym at Block Headquarter, Sangaldan.Among others, Block Development Officer, Sangaldan, Anmol,  and PRIs, besides a large number of general public and sports lovers were present on the occasion.The Gym has been established by the Rural Development Department at a cost of Rs. 5  lakh. 

Addressing the gathering, the DDC Chairperson said that the establishment of the Gym would go a long way in providing the recreational facilities to the locals, especially youth, besides helping them in maintaining their physical health.Earlier, the Chairperson kick started construction of a 1.20 kms road from Sheikh Mohalla to Gujjar Gali under District Plan 2023-24 ,  which would be completed with an estimated cost of   Rs. 51.5 lakh.
