Chidiyan Da Chamba Movie Review

Story And Screenplay

The story of the film is quite good which starts with the introduction of main characters. Four girls ( Amyra Dastur, Sharan Kaur, Neha Pawar and Mehnaaz Maan) who are just done with the setbacks in their lives because of power and fate bring them together unexpectedly at a location where they find themselves in conflict with one such group.

This chance encounter serves as the catalyst for their collective journey, one that embarks on a mission to champion the cause of empowerment and equality. The film beautifully portrays the actions and events that transpire during their voyage, effectively conveying the message of empowerment and equality that they stand for.

At times, the movie's screenplay proved to be perplexing, creating challenges in piecing together the narrative threads, and certain scenes fell short of expectations. A more effective presentation could have significantly heightened the movie's overall impact.

Acting

Sharan Kaur, Mehnaaz Maan, Neha Pawar, and Amyra Dastur delivered outstanding performances in their respective roles. Their profound grasp of their characters allowed them to execute their parts brilliantly. A special mention should go to Sharan Kaur, who occasionally outperformed others in several sequences.

After the interval, Shivjot made his entrance and performed well in his first performance. He made an impression as a police officer, and we hope to see him again soon.

With their individual parts, Balwinder Bullet and Sanju Solanki made an impression. Yograj Singh made a memorable cameo appearance at the conclusion. The rest of the cast did a good job of playing their part.

Director & Writer

Prem Singh Sidhu gave it his all in presenting his narrative in a unique and distinctive way. He succeeded in providing us with visuals and moments that truly deserved applause. The story initially drew inspiration from Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Ji to kindle the flames of battle, but this reference failed to leave a lasting impact as the plot unfolded. Overall Prem Singh Sidhu did a fair job in making a good film to watch.

Music

The movie boasted an exceptional background score that consistently heightened the impact of various scenes. While the songs were of good quality, their placement within the film could have been more strategic, leading to disruptions in the flow of the narrative.

Conclusion

Chidiyan Da Chamba is a dynamic film which promises to deliver unprecedented moments with its distinctive storytelling approach that you've never experienced before.

Team 5 Dariya News give 3.5 Stars to Chidiyan Da Chamba. One and a half stars are snipped due to a bit of a fussy screenplay, irrelevant music and major dubbing issues.
