Women centric films are now loved by a bigger audience and it is being witnessed with a big change in Marathi cinema too with the film "Kaya" starring actress Sayali Sanjeev in the lead role was announced with the teaser poster launch in Mumbai. The announcement poster and teaser poster of the film was launched in Mumbai in the presence of many veteran artists of the Marathi world.
On this occasion, actresses Sayali Sanjeev, Madhuri Pawar, Sachin Bangar, actor Akshay Waghmare along with producer Akshay Yetale, director Tushar Zagade, musician Amit Raj were present. This is the story of the fearless and fearless lady police officer Kaya. Kaya who is a brave female policewoman who solves cases very intelligently. In the film, Kaya is solving the case of a boy named Deepak who has been missing for 7 years.
This case is very mysterious whose Kaya and her team solve the mystery of the missing boy. Thriller action and based on true events. Sanjay Devkar, an elderly father, has been making rounds of the police station for 7 years after his son Deepak went missing in the hope that one day his son would return home.
During this case, different suspects are hovering in and around Kaya which makes the case more confused. On this occasion, producer Akshay Yetale said, "Kaya will be the most modern action film in the Marathi film industry. We have finalized the best technical experts for the film. High quality action scenes and treatment will be shown in the film.
The film will be shot in Mumbai. Also, it will be done in Hyderabad, Goa and Aurangabad. The film's writer-director Tushar Zagade said, "Marathi film industry will get a new female super cop in the character of Kaya. Along with thriller, murder mystery and suspense, this film will set a new milestone in the Marathi entertainment world."
Actress Sayli Sanjeev excitedly said, “When the producer told me about my character, it felt very new to me. I am playing such an action packed character for the first time, it will also be challenging for me. Sayli Sanjeev, Madhuri Pawar, Sachin Bangar, Akshay Waghmare will be seen in lead roles in the film "Kaya" under the banner of Adveek Movie Creation.
The producer of the film is Akshay Yetale and the writer is director Tushar Zagade. The screenplay and dialogues are written by Amber Hadap. The music of the film is being directed by Amit Raj and the cinematographer is Prakash Kutty, executive producer is Sachin Bangar, action director is Danny Defferent and editor is Sanjay Sankala. The film "Kaya" will be released in cinema in May 2024.
