Nitesh Tiwari Project Ramayana To Soon Go On Floor With Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi & Yash

Bollywood Industry’s Nitesh Tiwari directorial project Ramayana with Ranbir Kapoor has been in headlines over a long period time and people have been speculating for the updates on the same. But it seems like some solid information on the making of the epic Ramayana retold has come out as per the recent reports by Pinkvilla who confirmed the news of the film soon going on the floors with lead cast.

As per Pinkvilla, a source close to the team confirmed that Ramayana is being made and is expected to go on floors in early 2024 with the lead cast, Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita Mata and Yash as Ravana. It is said that the film is recently in its pre production stage as the VFX have been already prepared by the team before the film’s shoot commencement. 

The source revealed, “Nitesh Tiwari and team have been working actively on creating the world of Ramayana and the blueprint is finally all ready. The VFX plates are prepared by the Oscar Winning Company, DNEG and it’s a world that would blow away the minds of audiences. However, the strength of Ramayana won’t be the visual but the simplistic storytelling and compelling inter-character emotions.”   

The source further unveiled the shoot schedules of the cast while telling that Ramyana will come in parts as he said that, “Ranbir and Sai will start shooting for the film around the month of February 2024. The first part of the trilogy will focus more on Lord Ram and Sita, leading towards the conflict of Sita Haran. The duo will be shooting for the film from February till August 2024, before calling it a wrap for Ramayana: Part One,” the source informed, adding further that, Yash, who plays Ravana in the film, will shoot for his portions around July 2024.

While concluding the statement, the source revealed about the 2nd part shooting in Sri Lanka and said, “Yash has a rather extended appearance in Ramayana: Part One, however, his character will dominate the proceedings in the second part, which is set in Sri Lanka. He has allotted 15 days to shoot for Ramayana: Part One” 

The reports claimed the trio is super excited to start work on the epic Ramayana as soon as possible. Fans are a bit worried this time after the fiasco of Adipurush starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan but are hoping for the best. Well, all eyes are now on the further updates.
