Anee’s School Shines at UNESCO Clubs Exchange Programme in Nepal, Fostering Cross-Cultural Learning and Collaboration

Anee’s School, Kharar shines at UNSECO Clubs Exchange Programme in Nepal which held from 21st Sept, 2023 to 26th Sept, 2023. Cultural exchange programmes not only propel students to understand the diversity of country but also make them learn how to co-exist and feel compassion for different communities around.In our endeavour to nurture our learners as truly global citizens, our education institute was invited to visit Nepal to be a part of this benefitted programme. 

The trip was organized by CUCAI UNSECO India school for its’ staff and students, which included our esteemed erudite State Coordinator Mrs. Geetika Kala , our Coordinator Mr. Amanpreet Singh and Incharges of Pre- Primary and Primary Wing – Mrs. Harpreet Attrey and Mrs. Reena Sharma respectively , along with our talented pupils- Anmolpreet Kaur,Jashanpreet Kaur Dhanoa, Rupinder Kaur Kalra , Harnoor Kaur, Gurleen Kaur, Vaishanvi and Manjot Kaur under the supervision of our illustrious Vice-President of CUCAI UNSECO India – Mrs. Shashi Bhadauria .

Being a part of this cultural and educational exchange program with Nepal students, Asia Pacific School/ College , Kathmandu welcomed us with warmth and showcased their culture with their traditional dance form and songs. Student of Anee’s, Vaishnavi gave presentation in Tilingatar Secondary School, Government school in Nepal on the Education System of India and NEP Policy, which was vividly explained and understood by the audience. 

The dignitaries of Nepal Mayor of Bhanu municipality- Mr. Anand Raj Tripathi ji, Mayor of Tokha Kathmandu municipality- Mr. Prakash Adhikari , Co Chairman of Advisory Committee of NAFUCAN- Dr. Kedarnath Bahaal, Principal of Tilingatar Secondary School- Mr. Saroj kumar Pandey, appreciated the presentation skills of the students and therefore, promised and showed excitement to join hands with Anee’s for future learning. 

Along with this our talented learners rocked the stage with their power packed performance on one of the traditional dance form of Punjab “Bhangra”- connecting all of us with the roots of India. A gathering of 400 educators and learners of Nepal were enthralled by their performance.  This programme has given the students a perfect platform to share unique experiences and developed deep insights of cross-cultural collaborative communication programme without any restrictions and boundaries.

The incessant efforts of our learners and educators were recgonised by National Federation of UNESCO Clubs, Centre and Association of Nepal (NEFUCAN) and Confederation of UNESCO Clubs and Associations of India (CUCAI) awarded them with memento and certificate of appreciation for their constant and consistent efforts for striving and thriving hard to achieve greater heights. Teachers came back with a wonderful experience and students shared their views with their parents and peers and school will give more opportunities like this to their students in the future for their holistic development.
