Prabhas starrer Salaar Part 1: CEASEFIRE is one of the biggest and most awaited films of 2023 which fans have poured their eyes on for a long time. After facing several delays due to some unforeseen circumstances, the makers have now finally locked the release date as promised earlier. Salaar which was previously scheduled to release on 28 September 2023 has now booked the slot of 2023 Christmas week while clashing with SRK’s Dunki.
Yes, you read that right, today Hombale Films, the film’s production house has officially announced the new release date by taking to their X handle in which they revealed that Salaar Part 1: CEASEFIREwill now be out in cinemas on 22 December 2023. While sharing the film's poster featuring Prabhas, the post captioned as, “Coming Bloody Soon! #SalaarCeaseFire Worldwide Release On Dec 22, 2023.”

With Salaar’s release confirmed on 22 December 2023, it created a major clash with Atlee’s directorial Dunki starring Shah Rukh Khan on the same date. Both of the actors and the films are equally hyped and enjoy a huge fandom, so the competition cannot be predicted until their release.
