Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu attends 'Shaheed Parivar Fund' distribution event in Jalandhar

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu attended the 118th 'Shaheed Parivar Fund' distribution event hosted by the leading newspaper Punjab Kesari in Jalandhar, today. He commended Punjab Kesari Newspaper Group for its outstanding contributions to journalism and social welfare. 

The Chief Minister said that Punjab Kesari Group has been a steadfast supporter of martyr families for several years and today relief material and financial aid to 225 families in Jammu and Kashmir has been sent. He added that participating in such programs fills every individual with a sense of pride.

Chairman Punjab Kesari Group Padama Shree Vijay Chopra, Joint Managing Directors Avinash Chopra and Amit Chopra, Directors Abhijay Chopra, Abhinav Chopra and Aroosh Chopra, MLA Sudarshan Babloo, Chief Minister's Principal Advisor (Media) Naresh Chauhan, Chief Minister's Principal Private Secretary Vivek Bhatia, Congress Leader Vivek Sharma and other dignitaries were also present at the occasion.
