51 C-DYTE youth selected in Central Armed Police Forces

A unique initiative of C-DYTE running in Jammu District in collaboration Mission Youth, Jammu and Kashmir, has helped 51 Youth to get recruited in the different wings of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) via (GD) examination-2022 conducted by staff selection commission, the result of which was declared recently.

A small function was organized today in DC Office Jammu in which District Development Commissioner Jammu, Sachin Kumar felicitated all selected C-DYTE Trainees and their instructors. He congratulated and conveyed best wishes for their new phase of life. 

The DDC Jammu, who is also the Chairperson of C-DYTE, applauded the efforts of the instructors and staff for imparting quality training to the boys & girls and also wished them best for the next scheduled Agniveer and other recruitment rallies in remaining 2023.

There are 17 centres running in the district and center wise details of selections are, 10 from Suchetgarh, 08 from Marh, 06 each from Suchetgarh and Chowki Choura, 05 from Arnia, 04 each from Samwan, Khour and Pargwal. Out of these 51 trainees, 19 allotted BSF, 10 in CRPF, 16 CISF, 10, ITBP, 03 in Assam Rifle 03 comprising 47 boys and 04 girl trainees.

So far, 751 selections and more than 7000 boys and girls have been trained in the last 16 batches (combined of C-BYTE and C-DYTE) beginning from January 2016. Recently, the 6th batch with a combined strength of 467 has been completed in July, 2023. C-DYTE (Centre for District Youth Training and Empowerment), is an initiative of District Administration Jammu in collaboration with Mission Youth, Jammu and Kashmir is running in different blocks of the district to enhance the academic ability and physical endurance of the enrolled youth.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (L&O), Harvinder Singh, Chief Planning Officer Sh. H. Joginder Katoch, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sandeep Seinotra, District Youth Services and Sports officer, Sukhdev Sharma, Incharge C-DYTE Dr. Surinder Kumar and other concerned officers were present in the felicitation programme.
