Minister Anmol Gagan Mann holds high-level meeting to review development works of Nayagaon

Minister orders to complete demarcation of the areas under Nayagaon Municipal Council within a week

Punjab Cabinet Minister and MLA Kharar Anmol Gagan Mann on Tuesday held a meeting with officials to review the development of Nayagaon. During the meeting, the Cabinet Minister categorically directed the officers to complete all the pending works at the earliest and asked them to ensure that people should not face any kind of hassle while getting government services.

During the meeting with the Sub-Divisional Magistrate Kharar, Nayagaon Municipal Council and officials of the Revenue Department, the Cabinet Minister discussed problems being faced by the people of Nayagaon in getting the maps passed and obtaining No Objection Certificates (NOC) for electricity and water connections. 

To address this matter, she ordered to complete the demarcation of all the areas under Nayagaon Municipal Council in a week and present a report that which land comes in Shamlat and which land is government or private, so that no objection certificate can be obtained.

She also asked the electricity department to forward the NOCs applications issued in the last two months to the MC to verify them. During the meeting, the cabinet minister while ordering to hire an agency to collect domestic waste in Nayagaon, instructed the officials of Nayagaon Nayagaon Municipal Council to make a proposal to construct a new building for Nayagaon Nayagaon Municipal Council office. 

She also ordered to speed up the process of passing maps.In order to tackle with the problem of stray cattle, the Cabinet Minister Anmol Gagan Mann instructed that these stray cattle should be caught and released in the Gaushala located in Nadha village.

Reviewing the complaints received regarding the problem of electricity, the Cabinet Minister directed PSPCL officers that all the problems related to hanging and faculty wires should be repaired soon and also the shortage of technical staff should be filled.
