Punjab Cabinet Minister Aman Arora presided over the blood donation camp organized by District Red Cross Society at the local Anaj Mandi and paid tribute to the Sant Harchand Singh Longowal on the account of his death anniversary. Earlier, Cabinet Minister Aman Arora also paid obeisance at Gurudwara Kambowal Sahib Longowal.

Speaking on the occasion, Cabinet Minister Aman Arora said that Sant Harchand Singh Longowal laid down his life for the unity and integrity of the country. He added that the Punjab government has organised a blood donation camp as a befitting tribute to the martyrdom of Sant Longowal instead of playing politics like others.

The Cabinet Minister, while offering floral tributes to Sant Harchand Singh Longowal, said that the martyrdom of those who sacrificed their lives for the service of humanity can never be forgotten. Aman Arora said that every single drop of blood collected through this blood donation camp dedicated to the memory of saints will prove helpful in saving precious lives.

On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Aman Arora said that the state government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is making continuous efforts for the all-round development of the assembly constituency Sunam Udham Singhwala and under this series the ongoing development works in Longowal at a cost of crores of rupees will be completed soon.

On this occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Varjeet Walia, SDM Sangrur Navreet Kaur Sekhon, District Social Security Officer Loveleen Warring, President Municipal Council Longowal Parminder Kaur Brar, Executive Officer Bal Krishan, Balwinder Singh, Sukh Sahoke, Gurdeep Singh Takipur, Jugraj Singh, Mela Singh MC, Shishan Pal, Karam Singh Brar, Sukhpal Bajwa, Shipi Longowal were also present.
