August 2023 seems to be a month of big clashes as firstly Gadar 2 and OMG 2 are set to clash at box-office on 11 August 2023, simultaneously the following week, Abhishek Bachchan and Saiyami Kher’s Ghoomer and Nushrat Bharucha’s film Akelli are all set for a major face-off on 18 August 2023 leaving the fans in a big confusion to decide which film to watch on the big screens as they are all mind-blowing in their perspectives. 

Speaking about the film Ghoomer, the cricket based film starring Abhishek Bachchan, Saiyami Kher, Shabana Azmi and Angad Bedi. It portrays an inspiring tale of a sportsperson who aspires to play in the Indian cricket team and all of a sudden loses her right hand due to an incident but her coach motivates her and she excels under his guidance. R Balki directorial Ghoomer promises to deliver an inspiring tale with a compelling story. 

While, Nushrat Bharucha’s film Akelli is a whole different struggle and fight between life and death, set in the backdrop of 2014’s Iraq attacks when Islamic state advanced into Iraq from Syria. The film will show how an Indian girl gets trapped in war torn lands of Mosul, Iraq and her struggle to fight, survive, escape and freedom with courage. It promises a blood-curdling film that needs a courageous heart to witness it. 

The trailer of both the films have been released today leaving audiences stunned with their spine chilling plots. Both the films are equally captivating despite being utterly contrary from each other. Their trailers have raised the audiences high on hopes while leaving them wanting more from them.
