Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra : DC Udhampur inspects Lodgement facilities, civic amenities made available along National Highway

Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Sachin Kumar Vaishya, along with SSP, Dr Vinod Kumar,  this evening  visited  several Lodgement centres/ Community Sanitary Complexes on National Highway falling in the territorial jurisdiction of the district and enquired about the facilities being provided to the Shri Amarnath Ji yatra pilgrims .

To ensure adequate civic amenities for the pilgrims, the DC Udhampur inspected Lodgement centres/Community Sanitary Complexes. He inquired about provision of drinking water, food, sanitation and other amenities. He asked the officers to deploy adequate number of civic workers for   maintaining cleanliness of these Centres/ Community Sanitary complexes for comfortable stay of the pilgrims.

During the visit, the DC also interacted with the pilgrims. Amarnath Yatra Pilgrims hailed   excellent arrangements made by District Administration Udhampur.Among others, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Joginder Singh Jasrotia and other officers were accompanying the DC during the visit.
