A free dental and medical camp was also organised here at Guru Nanak Dev Dental Colllege Sunam in which 1100 new patients were registered.Addressing the people Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhawan said that Babu Bhagwan Das Arora's contribution to the society can never be forgotten and Aman Arora too, like his father, was very dedicated to public service with hard work.
Cabinet Minister Chetan Singh Jauramajra said that Aman Arora, who has been marking his father's death anniversary continuously for the past 23 years, has proved countless love for his father. He said that Babu Bhagwan Das had opened this dental college here keeping in mind the concept of service to the area so that the people here could get modern treatment facilities.
He said that it was a matter of pride that Aman Arora was also following the footsteps of his father and setting an example for the people.Cabinet Minister Gurmeet Singh Khudian said that children always have the courage of their parents because no one pampers them like a mother and if the father's hand is on their head, they don't care about anything.
He said that Babu Bhagwan Das Arora was a well-known personality of the area who always gave priority to the service of the needy and the poor and today the entire Arora family was working diligently in his footsteps.
MLA and Aam Aadmi Party’s Working President Principal Budh Ram said that a person reaches heights only because of the prayers of his parents and Cabinet Minister Aman Arora organized the event every year to keep the memory of his father Babu Bhagwan Das Arora fresh. He said that God resides in the homes where elders are respected.
In the end, Cabinet Minister Aman Arora thanked all the personalities and Sangat on behalf of the entire family including mother Parameshwari Devi and sister Radhika Arora.On this occasion Deputy Commissioner Jitender Jorwal, Chairman Punseed Mahinder Singh Sidhu, Chairman District Planning Board Gurmail Singh Gharachon, Chairman PSIDC Jasveer Singh Kudni, Chairman Market Committee Sangrur Avtar Singh Elwal, Chairman Market Committee Sunam Mukesh Juneja, Chairman Market Committee Cheema Darshan Singh Jiti Mann, senior leader Mandeep Singh Lakhewal, Chairperson Block Samiti Jaspal Kaur and other personalities were also present.
