NEET 2023: Pulwama Boy Abdul Basit secures first rank in Jammu and Kashmir and 113th across the country

The results of the Undergraduate NET Entrance Test 2023 conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) were declared late on Tuesday evening. In which a student named Abdul Basit belonging to Chewaklan area of South Pulwama district got 113th place in the country and first place in Jammu and Kashmir UT.

The National Testing Agency has announced the results In which the students belonging to Jammu and Kashmir guarded the flag of success with outstanding performance. Talking to media Abdul Basit said, that the credit of success goes to hard work and dedication which he started after passing the 10th standard.

Abdul Basit said, "After studying in the local areas of Pulwama since childhood, he started preparing for NEET and appeared for the exam. As soon as the results came, he did not see them himself, but he was informed by the institute that he had secured the first position in Jammu and Kashmir he added, He further said that my elder brother who is already studying for MBBS wanted my younger brother (me) to make the name of the region and the district by performing well in the NET exam.

 Along with parents, friends and other relatives given full support, but I have been greatly influenced by my uncle who is associated with the medical department. Abdul Basit said, "NEET is not that tough but only requires hard work and dedication

 “Proper guidance of teachers plays an important role in the educational journey and my message for those who have not succeeded in the examination is that they should not be disappointed but should continue studying with hard work and dedication, he concluded Notably, the pass rate of UG NET Qualifier in Jammu and Kashmir in the year 2022 has increased by almost 10% compared to the previous year.
