DC Rajouri Vikas Kundal inspects progress of work on Bindi Bridge, JJM Scheme Badhoon-A

Calls for Quality Work, Timely Completion of projects

Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today inspected the progress of work on Bindi Bridge and Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) scheme Badhoon-A- two mega projects taken up under PWD(R&B) and Jal Shakti Sector in the district.

During the visit to Bindi bridge, the Executive Engineer PWD (R&B)    informed that the estimated cost of the project is Rs 2.92 crore. He further informed that the abutment work has been completed, while the launching work is currently in progress. 

On its completion, the bridge is expected to benefit around 15,000 people of the area by providing improved surface connectivity.At Panchayat Badhoon-A, the DC inspected the pace of progress on Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) scheme taken up at an estimated cost of Rs 4.9 crores.  

The Water Supply Scheme aims to provide a reliable and sustainable water supply to the population of around 4200 people in the area. The Deputy Commissioner was informed that the work on the scheme is progressing well and is expected to be completed in four months.

The Deputy Commissioner expressed satisfaction over the progress of work on both projects and emphasized their importance in improving the lives of people in the district. He urged the officials to ensure that the construction work is completed within the stipulated time frame with best quality of work.

The construction of the Bindi bridge and the JJM scheme Badhoon-A are crucial infrastructure projects that will have a significant and positive impact on the lives of people in the area.The Deputy Commissioner's visit to the sites demonstrated the commitment of the District Administration Rajouri to the development of the district and its efforts to improve the lives of its residents.

 CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; EXEN PWD(R&B) Rajouri, Sardar Khan; EXEN Jal Shakti Rajouri, Ashwini Sharma and other concerned officers accompanied the DC.
