Punjabi cinemas has given us many superhit rom-com family entertainers with adorable onscreen jodis marking their presence in the hearts of the people and Lehmberginni is surely going to add its name to the list. Start of June cannot be better than the release of a beautiful tale Lehmberginni with pleasing chemistry of Ranjit Bawa and Mahira Sharma with a unique concept teaching you morals apart from the love story. We have prepared a detailed review of the film giving you more information and fewer spoilers.  

Story

Lemberginni follows the story of a boy Lehmber (played by Ranjit Bawa) who grows up with the habits of scandalising people in fun through his childhood and his parents send him to England to his sister after being frustrated due to his activities. But his habits do not change there and lands him into problems after he lies about being doctor to Ginni ( Mahira Sharam) with whom he fell in love with but she catches out his lies. So the film follows all the events and chaos created due to his lies and what happens at the end, they stay together or fall apart that you will get to witness by watching the film. 

Acting

Ranjit Bawa has played a major part and the film almost revolves around his character giving him more screen space. He has done a good job in carrying out his role throughout the film. His energy and comic timing was refreshing. 

Mahira Sharma has comparatively less screen space but whatever screen time she was offered, she has justified her role by killing through her performance. She has done her part excellently but the viewers wished to see her more in the film. 

Kimi Verma and Sarbjit Cheema were decent in their roles and played their part well. The flavour they have added as a pair is quite mesmerising. 

Nirmal Rishi as always never fails to impress no matter what’s her character and what the situation is. Gurteg Guri is always exciting and funny to watch on screen .

The rest of the cast has worked effectively together to produce a noteworthy film.

Music 

The music part of the film is flawless with a versatility in them. There are in total 9 songs in the film out of which 5 have already been released which have really impressed the audiences once again proving the heart and soul relation of Ranjit Bawa and music. The songs were perfectly fit according to the situations enhancing the beauty of the film while capturing everyone’s hearts. 

Direction & Writing

The story of the film is quite simple yet amazing. It is a little bit confusing after reaching the second half but the director has incredibly managed in executing it avoiding the chaos. The locations were accordingly chosen that enthralled everyone’s eyes. Every character got justice with their respective roles. Overall, Ishaan Chopra has done a commendable job in carrying out the story very well.    

Conclusion

Overall we can say that it is a perfect family entertainer giving a good lesson with a good execution. Team 5 Dariya News gives 4 stars to Lehmberginni.

One star is snipped due to some dubbing issues which were clearly visible and unavoidable and also the story was a bit slow in the second half which could have been improved.
