LPU’s 28 B.Ed students got prestigious placements

Twenty-eight students of the School of Education at Lovely Professional University (LPU) have successfully got prestigious placements with the highest package of Rs 8 lac per annum. The placement percentage of the appeared students of 2023 batch is about 90 per cent.

Out of a total of 32 graduating students of B.Ed (2 years), and BA/BSc B.Ed (Integrated 4 years) programmes of 2023 batch; 28 of them got coveted placement in prestigious institutions of Metro, NCR and other top cities of Maharashtra, Bihar, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and more, near to their residences. 

The education graduates have proved their distinct competencies in academic delivery and are thus hired by the premier educational institutions like Delhi Public School (DPS), Cambridge international, Elite Bio-tech, Goenka Public School and more. Meticulous guidance for the curriculum at LPU School, with special focus on mapped courses, prepared the students well to see their brilliant career success. 

The preparedness at the LPU was also coupled with the mock exam, interviews and evaluation pattern. LPU students can further apply for all Central/State Government Teaching jobs after getting a CTET certificate.

Informing that LPU’s education programmes create teachers equipped with 21st century technological skills to impart quality education; Chancellor Dr Ashok Mittal congratulated the hard working staff members for preparing career focussed students. 

Dr Mittal also bade best wishes to the successful students for further seeing much glorified career ahead. In fact, education students are made to undergo rigorous practice of learning and teaching both.

The School of Education endeavours to develop employability skills among students through Personality Enhancement Programs; CTET/STET mapped curriculum (last year 90% graduates cracked CTET 2022 in their first attempt); CV vetting; demo lessons; mock interviews; community/live projects; development of e-learning material, video lessons; action research; case studies; guest lectures and workshops through potential recruiters, industry experts and more. 

As such, LPU’s education students are prepared for different profiles, including subject experts, online teachers, educational consultants, content writers for Edu-Tech companies and more.
