Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij, while going from Ambala to Hisar, suddenly stopped his vehicle and conducted a surprise inspection at Narwana Sadar Police Station and suspended five police personnel including the SHO of the police station after finding various negligence and shortcomings.
The police personnel suspended during the surprise inspection included SHO Sub-Inspector Balwan Singh of Sadar Police Station, Head-constables Sandeep and Ramniwas, and Constables Kuldeep Kumar and Raman.
After the surprise inspection, while interacting with the media persons Sh. Vij said that many types of negligence and shortcomings have been found in the police station and the work of the people is not being done on any seat because the documents of the people are pending for many months and weeks on those seats.
That's why today I have ordered the suspension of five police personnel including the SHO of the police station. Sh. Vij today ordered the Superintendent of Police, Jind, to listen to the complainants' grievances at the police station and take further action to resolve it.
During the inspection, He said that he has found that applications of many people have been received from the seat of passport verification and no action has been taken on these applications by the concerned police personnel, hence the personnel of this seat has been suspended.
Similarly, police personnel have been suspended for not registering cases in online TTNS as cases on TTNS were not uploaded for the last 7 to 8 days, which were pending. Similarly, a report was sought under an application from the Market Committee regarding the insurance to be given in relation to death during work in the fields related to Chief Minister's Insurance Scheme, which report was pending.
The person on whose desk this report was pending has also been suspended. He said that similarly Munshi has also been suspended and the SHO of the police station has been suspended for negligence as he has no control over the work of any seat in the police station. He said that he did not find any work properly in Narwana Sadar Police Station.
During the surprise inspection, Sh. Vij reprimanded the SHO of the police station and said that the SHO has no control over any seat and is completely mismanaged. He said that no work is being done properly on any seat and people are sitting in the police station in long queues for justice.
Sh. Vij also interacted with the complainants who came to the police station, sought information about the applications of such applicants, and gave directions to the concerned police personnel for disposal. Sh. Vij warned the police personnel today that you all do the work properly; otherwise Anil Vij will not spare anyone.
He said that I can do a surprise inspection in any office anytime and my vehicle can turn anywhere anytime.During the surprise inspection, he checked the reports, documents, registers, applications etc. in the police station.
After the surprise inspection, the Home Minister stopped his vehicle and met the officials of the Road Bachao Sangharsh Samiti and also assured them to take appropriate action on the application given by them. Jind Superintendent of Police and other officers were also present during the surprise inspection.
