Haryana Home Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that “India is undergoing significant transformation and advancement, and now desires to achieve even greater heights”. He said that Prime Minister of India, Sh. Narendra Modi has resolved to transform India into a developed country by the year 2047.
Sh. Vij was addressing the gathering at a program organized by the Pravasi Bharatiyas (NRIs) and 'Association of Haryanvi in Australia' in Sydney, Australia.
India should be in the category of developed countries within 100 years of independence – Vij
He said that this is the first time that any Prime Minister of the country has resolved to transform India into a developed country by the year 2047. India should also stand in the category of developed countries under 100 years of independence.
He said that the countries that became independent with India went ahead of India, but now India desires to achieve greater heights. He said that all the schemes, long-term strategies, and initiatives are being implemented keeping in mind the year 2047 so that our country develops completely.
Welcome to the Prime Minister in Australia
He said that Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi is also coming to Australia, and he appealed to the gathering that we all should welcome him with full enthusiasm. He said that Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi has not celebrated a single Diwali at his home; he has celebrated every Diwali by going to the border and among the soldiers.
Every Indian should contribute in making his country great and number one – Vij
Sh. Vij said that when the Prime Minister's mother died, 15 minutes after her death, the Prime Minister inaugurated a project keeping in mind the service of the country. This shows that the Prime Minister has completely devoted himself to the cause of his country and people.
He said that the people of India, irrespective of the country in which they live, are with the Prime Minister and their country and will contribute to making their country great and number one.
Getting immense support and love in Australia – Vij
He said that the ways you people are connected with each other in Australia and the work that all of you have done in Australia for the promotion of Gita, it is less appreciated. He said that I am here in Australia for the last 3 days but I did not feel that I am in Australia; I feel that I have come to some other city of Haryana, because I am getting immense support and love from you people.
One should not give up his heritage and roots while living in Australia – Vij
Sh. Vij said that you people have not left your religion and culture while living in Australia. He said that one should never leave his roots. He said that when I went to the house of 'Association of Haryanvi in Australia' office bearer Seva Singh, he had prepared a meeting place in his house by placing Manje/Khaat, Mudhe, and Hookah, which reminded me of the Haryanvi culture.
He said that the people coming there should know what our heritage is, our roots, and in what ways we live.On this occasion, office bearers and dignitaries of various organizations of Australia were present.
