DDC Reasi reviews progress under RDD Schemes

District Development Commissioner Reasi Babila Rakwal today chaired the review meeting of Rural Development Department with focus on formulation of Area Development Fund Plan, Progress of Amrit Sarovars in each Panchayat of the District and saturation of Swach Bharat Mission Gramin components as per the set timelines.

The DDC took a detailed review of activities undertaken by the Rural Development Department during Financial year 2022-23 with focus on Schemes of UT Capex, ADF , SBM-G MGNREGA and PMAY. She directed field functionaries of RDD to expedite the house completion under PMAY.

The DDC issued a timeline for completion of One Amrit Sarovar each Panchayat of the district before 15th August 2023.Further, instructions were issued to BDOs and technical staff to work in synchronisation while finalisation of ADF plan 2023-24 as well as PMAYG schemes.

The DDC also reviewed Swach Bharat Mission Gramin in threadbare and urged BDOs to involve all the stakeholders in saturation of Swatch Bharat Mission Gramin components like Model panchayats, Plastic Free Ppanchyats and provision of Solid-Liquid Waste Management at panchayat level.

Meeting was attended by ADDC Jyoti Salathia, CPO Sunita Kanchan, ACD Anirudh Rai, ACP Pardeep Kumar, Executive Engineer Varinder Sharma, BDOs and other functionaries of the Rural Development Department.
