8 solar power rockets recovered in Machil sector

Army on Tuesday recovered eight solar power rockets from Machil sector near Line of Control (LoC) in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.Official sources told GNS that army’s 5 Kamaw unit during a search operation at Muthal Top forest area of Machil sector in the district recovered eight solar power rockets which were placed inside a den.“The rockets were Pakistan made and can cause great damage”, sources said, adding that the devices might have kept by militants in the area last year.Meanwhile, army sources claimed to have destroyed all the eight solar rockets without causing any damage.
