Yaaran Da Rutbaa Review

Story

The story of the film is based on the Betting Mafia where two groups want to rule an area and clash with each other on various issues. Dev Kharoud (Arjun) and Karanveer Khullar (Dheera) belong to the dominating group against the group of Rahul Dev (Sucha Singh). Finding the culprit after the inexplicable death of the governing gang's leader, Prince Kanwaljit Singh (Porus Likhari) assists Dev Kharoud (who is accused of killing) in locating the real murderer. How the mystery is solved and who is the real killer will be revealed in the movie itself.

Screenplay

The film screenplay has kind of confused and bored the fans. The film which was expected to be one of the best movies has a very fussy storyline. As the director has not presented systematically and overlapped events with each other which ruined the pace. But the dialogues of Yaaran Da Rutbaa are impactful and seem to fit perfectly in the situation. They were up to the mark and did not look scripted and exaggerated as it was just executed as one can ever imagine in a real situation.

Acting

Starting with Prince Kanwaljit Singh’s act. He was top-notch in the film. The role of psycho writer he played has really set a benchmark in the industry. From the beginning to the end of the film, he is the one who glued fans to their seats.

Now coming to the other lead, Dev Kharoud, he has again turned heads with his commendable super powerful action scenes. But what needed to be polished was his physique. He should have been more fitter to essay this role.

Rahul Dev who got less screen space has done wonders in those times. His voice is enough to win hearts. He portrays a villain who always outshines.

Yesha Sagar has supported her in the film Yaaran Da Rutbaa. Her role was decent but loved by the audience.

The rest of the cast did well and supported the entire cast beautifully throughout the movie.

Music

There were five songs in the film Yaaran Da Rutbaa. And to be honest, apart from the title song Rutbaa sung by Jordan Sandhu and another unreleased track which has been crooned by Dilpreet Dhillon were fitted in the film, the other three seemed to be forcefully attached in the film. But the background score has really overtaken the rest of the flaws. The use of background music according to the situation in many scenes is flaunting the scene even more which appears as an attraction to the audiences and they can connect more with the situation.

Overall

In the end, the film Yaaran Da Rutbaa has many elements to make it a must watch. The on-screen face-off between Dev Kharoud and Rahul Dev with added flavor of Prince Kanwaljit impact has forced the audience to book the tickets. Also, if you are a fan of action, thriller and suspenseful films then you should at least watch it for once in your life.

Meanwhile, 5 Dariya News gives Yaaran Da Rutbaa 4 stars. A Star is snipped because of a weak storyline and forceful songs which ruin the pace of the movie.
