Papalpreet Singh, The Top Aide Of Pro Khalistani Sympathiser Amritpal Singh Arrested By Punjab Police

As per the breaking news coming from Punjab, it is reported that Papalpreet Singh, the top aide of the Pro Khalistani preacher Amritpal Singh has been arrested by the Punjab police. He was on the run since 18 March 2023 when police launched a massive search operation against Amritpal and his aides.  

Papalpreet Singh was arrested by Punjab Police from Punjab’s city, Hoshiarpur on Monday. He was arrested in a joint operation by Punjab and Delhi police and its counter intelligence units as per the sources. 

It is also reported that after their run on 18 March, Amritpal and Papalpreet were together and they kept changing their vehicles and appearances so that no one could recognise them. 

Who Is Papalpreet Singh?

Papalpreet Singh is the top aide of Amritpal Singh who always guided him in various issues. He was the main mastermind behind the run of Amritpal and his aides and Amritpal trusted him the most. As per the reports, Papalpreet has been in contact with the ISI from where he was getting instructions to raise his voice for Khalistan in Punjab and create disharmony. 

Speaking about his background, he comes from an agricultural family and he got associated with Sikh Youth Front and Sikh Youth Federation in his 20s. He calls himself a Punjab/Amritsar based reporter who is reportedly running a Khalistani propaganda website named ‘Punjab Shield’. He is also right now facing four criminal cases against him.
