International Boxing player Pema Chhotan calls on Chief Minister

Kumari Pema Chhotan, Heavy Weight Boxer from Himachal Pradesh who represented India in the International Golden Gloves Boxing Championship at Serbia and won Silver Medal met Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh with Secretary General of Indian Boxing Federation, Shri Rajesh Bhandari and Secretary General H.P. Boxing Association, Shri Surinder Shandil, here today. 

Rajesh Bhandari apprised  the Chief Minister that Pema Chhotan & Shashi Negi both from Himachal Pradesh represented India in International Boxing Meet held at Serbia.Shri Bhandari urged the Chief Minister to open an academy and sports hostel for boxing players in the State so that the players could get best facilities and game could be promoted. Chief Minister assured to look into it and to provide necessary facilities to the boxing players.Chief Minister also blessed the winner pugilist. Principal Secretary to Chief Minister and Youth Services & Sports  Shri V.C. Pharka was also present on the occasion.
