- Gumraah
The film Gumraah helmed by debutant Vardhan Ketkar stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Mrunal Thakur and Ronit Roy in lead roles is slated to hit the cinema screens on 7 April 2023. The film is based on true events and it is the first time Aditya Roy Kapur will be seen playing dual roles in the film playing two very different avatars whereas Mrunal Thakur will be portraying the role of a cop. The duo will screen bond for the very first time and you will get to see an intense face-off between the two. Gumrah is the Hindi remake of the 2019 hit Tamil film ‘Thadam’.
- Shaakuntalam
‘Shaakuntalam‘ is an upcoming fantasy film from the south directed by Gunasekhar. The romantic drama film stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Dev Mohan, and Aditi Balan in pivotal roles and is all set to hit the big screens on 14 April 2023. It is a mythological film based on the love story of Shakuntala (daughter of Menaka and Rishi Vishwamitra) and King Dushyantha.
- Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan
One of the most awaited films and big releases of 2023, ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ stars Salman Khan and Pooja Hegde in lead roles. The film directed by Farhad Samji is going to release in theatres on 21 April 2023. The teaser of the film has given some hints about the movie that it is going to be a high octane action entertainer. The songs of the film portrays that Salman and Pooja’s chemistry will be going to be a superhit. Other details of the movie are still kept under the wraps.

‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’ sequel to ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ is a historic fiction film starring Vikram, Karhi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Jayam Ravi in lead roles. The film is slated to release on 28 April 2023. Ponniyin Selvan is directed by Mani Ratnam. Talking about the story of the movie, these are the cats that have Vandiyathevan set out to cross the Chola land to deliver a message from the crown prince Aditha Karikalan. Meanwhile, Kundavai attempts to establish political peace as vassals and petty chieftains plot against the throne.

The upcoming film ‘Bad Boy’ is directed by Rahkumar Santoshi and is all set to have a theatrical release on 28 April 2023. The movie stars Namashi Chakraborthy, Amrin Qureshi, and Darshan Jariwala in main roles. The film revolves around the love story of a middle class undisciplined boy who falls in love with a highly educated girl who belongs to a traditional and disciplined family and the challenges they face to make their relationship work despite all the odds.
