Finally the most awaited sequel of the iconic Indian blockbuster Gadar: Ek Prem Katha titled ‘Gadar: The Katha Continues’ has completed the shoot of the film as Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel are back with an eternal love story. The shoot wrap of the film ‘Gadar 2’ is announced by the director Anil Sharma.
Director Anil Sharma took to his twitter handle and shared a post confirming the competition of the shoot of the film. He shared a video of the last day shoot of Gadar 2 in which he was seen giving directions during the shoot. He captioned his post as, “#gadar2 shoot complete All set for 11aug23”

Gadar 2 is the continuation of the first part but it will take a leap of 20 years. It will revolve around the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war. You will again get a chance to see the beautiful chemistry of Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel on the screen. Anil’s son Utkarsh who played the kid role in Gadar will be seen in Gadar 2 as well. First look and motion poster of the film were released earlier which created excitement among the audiences.
The phenomenal first part of the film was released in 2001 which proved itself to be one of the most hit films of that time and was very well received by the audiences. Now, Gadar 2 is soon going to hit the cinema screens on 11 August 2023. It stars Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma in lead roles. The movie is produced by Anil Sharma Productions in association with Zee Studios and is directed by Anil Sharma.
