Kiren Rijiju to Visit Arunachal Pradesh

The Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju is visiting Arunachal Pradesh from July 4-7, 2014. During the visit, the Minister will review the Border Area Development Programme, Police Modernization and Law & Order situation in the North East. The MoS will hold a meeting with the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh and senior officials of Arunachal Pradesh along with officials of Border Roads Organization (BRO), Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited and Ministry of Home Affairs. The Minister will also meet with the officials of Armed Forces, Central Armed Police Forces, Eastern Air Command, BRO & BSNL. The Minister will be accompanied by Shri S.K. Mishra, Joint Secretary (Border Management) and Shri Shambu Singh, Joint Secretary (North East).
