It is recently reported that the Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala's Parents have protested outside the Punjab Vidhan Sabha in order to demand justice for the murder of their son who was shot dead by some gangsters on 29 May 2022. His father Balkur Singh announced and sat on dharna on Tuesday morning and demanded the CBI to look into the case. He also alleged that his case is being suppressed and he is also getting death threats.
While interacting with the media, he said, "What wrong am I doing? Should I not fight my son's case? I was threatened on the 18th, 24th and 27th that I will be killed before 25th April. I would like to tell the government, take my security back and I will continue to fight."

He also said that no one is listening to them, the government is doing nothing and nothing has happened yet. The murderers are roaming freely abroad. He also demanded CBI investigation to look into the matter and arrest the mastermind who targeted Sidhu. He demanded action against Goldy Brar.
Further he also added and blamed the Punjab government for his son's death and said that his son was safe when Congress government was in power and the day the government changed, his security was taken away and his son was killed the other day. He also said that it's been 10 months and he went to Police and administrations several times and was assured but nothing is done in his favour, his case has just been suppressed.
In the end, Sidhu Moosewala's Father said that he will sit there as long as the session will continue and will continue his protest.

Recently, Sidhu Moosewala's Father has announced Sidhu's death anniversary to be organised on 19 March 2023 at Navi Anaj Mandi, Mansa. He also requested his fans not to bring any banners or posters and to maintain peace during the whole ceremony. He also added that he will take round the whole village in Sidhu's favourite Thar.
