The movie 'KGF: Chapter 2' directed by Prashanth Neel received a lot of love from the audiences and gained global love and appreciation stars Yash whose performance has been very much loved by his fans. Recently director Venkatesh Maha who is known for movies like Modern Love Hyderabad and C/o Kancharapalem has made a controversial statement on 'KGF 2' and abused Yash's Character Rocky from the film.

It is reported that during a round table interview with different filmmakers, Venkatesh Maha cracked a joke about Prashanth Neel's directorial film 'KGF 2' and Yash's role from the film and abused him saying, "Nee*h Ka*ine Ku*te". He made this statement among other filmmakers including Nandini Reddy, Indraganti Mohana Krishna, Shiva Nirvana, and Vivek Athreya.

Fans were really upset because of the statement made by Venkatesh Maha and asked him to apologise Yash for abusing him and using such words while many were in support of Maha for expressing his views as a director. Some fans even threatened him and asked him to apologise to Yash and said that if they don't do so then they will ban his films in Karnataka.

A tweet from his fan went viral on social media saying, "First ask sorry to @TheNameIsYash and his fans and to entire kannadigas, otherwise you will face further consequences..you bludy attention seeker."

Many more came in support and tweeted about the same and showed their love for KGF 2 and Yash. KGF 2 has proved itself to be a superhit film and has received global appreciation by breaking many records not only in South industry but also in Hindi.
