DIC Poonch organises District Level Sensitization Workshop on 'Ease of doing Business & Single window system'

A District level sensitization Workshop regarding Ease of Doing Business and Single window system was held today under the Chairmanship of District Development Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet in District Industries Centre Poonch.

General Manager DIC Poonch, Dr. Zakir Hussain,  CEO Tourism, Dr. Mohd. Tanveer, Deputy Director, Employment and Counselling Centre, DFO Soil, District Officer KVIB, District Officer Geology and Mining, AC Metrology Department, field officer from DIC Poonch, Members from Industrial Associations Poonch, Budding entrepreneurs and Youth from different panchayats were present during the Workshop.

 As the UT of Jammu and Kashmir has taken several initiatives under Ease of doing Business and living reforms to provide hassle-free services to businesses and citizens, in this regard, a sensitization Workshop was scheduled in district Poonch by the department of Industries and Commerce.

During the programme, Technical experts of  BRAP and EoDB briefed the participants regarding the process/system. The session included question-Answer and open house discussion for better understanding and implementation of Portal.

 Representatives from different government departments, budding entrepreneurs and youth from panchayats were present during the session. Members from district Industrial Association were also part of the event.

Technical experts through detail PPTs and video presentation explain the process EoBD and Single Window System to the participants. Moreover, a threadbare discussion was also held during the session.

Various issues and changes to be made as per the departmental point of view were proposed to the visiting experts. DDC asked the visiting Technical experts to conduct more such workshops in the district to bring maximum awareness on single window portal in the district.

He further directed all the concerned departments  to focus on the implementation of the single window portal for online process in offices.
