Handsome and prominent actor Ranbir Kapoor is soon coming up with his film ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar’. For the sake of the promotion of the film, Ranbir went for an event in Chandigarh where he opened up about his and Alia’s win at Dadasaheb Phalke International Awards.

Recently, Ranbir and Alia have won the awards for Best Actor and Best Actress at Dadasaheb Phalke International Awards. "I am very excited that Alia won the award because she was truly deserving in her performance in Gangubai. That's one of her finest performances ever. Par jab award milta hai, ek acha feedback, ek pappi milti hai ki chalo aapne theek thak kaam kia. Aur zyadatar feeling ye hoti hai ki chalo ye bach gaye, abhi agle tak tension abhi rakhenge. Ab ye jab film release ho to ye bhi chal gai, zyadatar yahi hota hai ki phew, bach gaye. On to the next," he added.

Brahmastra starred Alia Bhatt opposite Ranbir Kapoor. It was the first movie of the couple together. It took a lot of years to be shot but after its release it proved itself to be a superhit blockbuster film.

On the workfront, Ranbir is all set with his upcoming film ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar’ which is scheduled to hit the cinema screens on 8 March 2023 on the occasion of Holi. Directed by Luv Ranjan, the film features Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor who will be seen together on screen as lead actors along with Dimple Kapadia and Boney Kapoor in his acting debut.
