Pathania and Chander Kumar call on Union State Minister for Commerce and Industries

Vice Chairman, Forest Corporation, Kewal Singh Pathania and former Member of Parliament Chander Kumar today called on Union State Minister for Commerce and Industries Shri Sudarshana Nachiappan and urged him to provide special central industrial package for reviving Kangra Tea. They said that the Kangra Tea was one of the finest in the world and it had great demand in the International market but due to lack of good grading, packing and marketing facilities it was not able to compete in the market and land under tea garden was drastically reducing. They requested for the specialized services of experts and for exploring possibilities of production of various varieties of Tea in the State. Union Minister assured of reviving the famous Kangra Tea industries and would personally visit Kangra in this regard.
