Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur are two prominent actors of Hindi cinema who have gained popularity with their commendable work in several films. The upcoming crime thriller based movie ‘Gumraah’ of Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur has got its release date. The movie is going to be released in cinemas on 7 April 2023. Vardhan Ketkar's directorial ‘Gumraah’ is based on true events. Aditya will be seen playing dual roles for the very first time on the screen. He will be seen in two very different avatars. Mrunal Thakur will be playing the role of a cop in the film.

Taran Adarsh also shared the information of the release date on his IG post saying, “ADITYA ROY KAPUR - MRUNAL THAKUR: 'GUMRAAH' RELEASE DATE LOCKED... #Gumraah - the crime thriller starring #AdityaRoyKapur [in his first-ever double role] and #MrunalThakur - to release in *cinemas* on 7 April 2023... Gumrah is the Hindi remake of the 2019 hit Tamil film ‘Thadam’ featuring Arun Vijay and Vidya Pradeep The movie will showcase an intense face-off between Aditya and Mrunal. The film also stars Ronit Roy along with Aditya Roy and Mrunal Thakur. Now the film is all set to hit the big screens 7 April 2023. This duo will be seen sharing a bond for the first time on the screen together.
