Dhoni Entertainment company is owned by well-renowned cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his wife Sakshi Singh Dhoni. This Private limited company which is promoted by Dhoni and his wife announced that They will reveal their production house's first film’s title and its cast. Yes, you read that right. The forthcoming Tamil production of the entertainment company will be directed by Ramesh Thamilmani, the creator of the graphic novel Atharva - The Origin which portrayed Dhoni as a superhero. There have been rumours that Harish Kalyan may have been given the lead role. The production has been found in the year of 2019, and they started producing content in all mainstream languages.
The company produced the documentary Roar of the Lion, a documentary drama based on the return of the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to the league in 2018 after serving a two-year suspension, in addition to acquiring the rights to the mythological sci-fi book The Hidden Hindu. So to make this relationship with the people of Tamil Nadu and Dhoni reinforcing, Dhoni shared that he will launch his first in the regional language of Tamil, a family entertainer conceptualised by Sakshi Singh Dhoni, MD of Dhoni Entertainment” the release added. The concept is fresh and ensures that this will definitely entertain the family” the release has quoted Ramesh as saying.
