The writer and director Tahira Kashyap Khurrana, wife of Ayushmann Khurrana is popularly known for her Zindagi in short, Sharmajee Ki Beti, and Pinni. Guneet Monga is one of India's best producers and is known globally. The pair have previously worked together and did a fantastic job.
Today on her birthday, Tahira announced her second feature film ‘A Dramedy’ in which she is going to team up with Guneet Monga again. She is reuniting with her ‘Pinni’ producer Guneet Monga on a dramedy, a full-length feature film. Taran Adarsh also shared a post on his IG about this mentioning Tahira joining Guneet for her second feature film. He wrote, “TAHIRA KASHYAP KHURRANA - GUNEET MONGA JOIN HANDS FOR FEATURE FILM… After directing her first feature film [#SharmajiKiBeti; slated for release this year], #TahiraKashyapKhurrana announces her second film [a ‘dramedy’] on her birthday today… Will be produced by #GuneetMonga.”

Tahira said that “I had the most beautiful experience while working on our short film and I think the both of us sort of made a pact in an unsaid way of collaborating on many things together in the future. Our energies were so synced and I am elated that the vision we had is now becoming a reality and we are coming together with a film that we both truly believe in.”
Guneet added, “Tahira is a really good writer with a deep understanding of human relationships. She is able to convey these intimate connections through her nuanced writing. As a production house, we were drawn to ‘Pinni’ because of the subtext alongside a truly empowering story. Her view of this world and her understanding cuts across classes. Tahira’s approach and sensitivity are what I truly find fascinating.”
Talking Tahira’s film, ‘Sharmajee Ki Beti’ is slated to be on the floors soon in the future. It is under production right now. Divya Dutta, Saiyami Kher, and Sakshi Tanwar will be seen in the film.
