DDC Chairman Chowdhary Naseem Liyaqat reviews developmental scenario in Rajouri district

Chairperson, District Development Council Rajouri, Chowdhary Naseem Liyaqat today presided over a meeting of the Council and took a comprehensive review of the developmental scenario in the district.

Among the others present in the meeting were Vice Chairperson DDC, Shabir Khan; DDC Member Nowshera, Manohar Singh; DDC Member Dhangri, Rameshwar Singh; DDC Member Thanamandi, Abdul Qayoom Mir, DDC Member Sunderbani, Rajinder Sharma; BDC Rajouri, Darbar Chowdhary; BDC Seri, Neena Sharma; BDC Sunderbani, Arun Sharma and BDC Moughla, Surekha Kotewal.

The Officers present in the meeting were ADDC/CEO DDC, Pawan Kumar; ADC Nowshera, Kartar Singh; ADC Kalakote, Krishan Lal; PO ICDS, Shoket Mehmood Malik; ACD, Vijay Kumar; DSWO, Wakeel Ahmed Bhatt; AD Planning, Mohd Rafi and other concerned officers .

During the meeting, the DDC Chairman took a comprehensive review of the physical and financial progress of different departments under various schemes and sought up to date status in this regard.

While speaking in the meeting, the DDC Chairman directed the officers to make extra efforts to provide the public with the best possible relief by providing them with all basic amenities.

He also directed them to make endeavours aimed to ensure prompt execution of works and holistic development of the district and asked them to work with utmost dedication in taking the district forward in developmental front.

The Chairman also asked them to be proactive towards the public grievances and try their best to redress all the genuine grievances of the public in a time bound manner. 

He also asked the officers to publicize their Welfare schemes and programs and ensure that all eligible beneficiaries of the district are covered under the same. He also laid thrust on speeding up the pace of execution to complete the works in a time bound manner. 

The Chairman also exhorted the concerned departments to remove bottlenecks to ensure the completion of works within the set timelines and directed the officers to put in best efforts for maximum utilization of funds under different schemes.
