Education sector of Jammu and Kashmir is facing worst ever approach of poor nature from Government with a number of important norms have not been implemented and change of syllabus is going on regularly with no check from Government.

Making these remarks, Jammu provincial vice president of Aam Aadmi Party, Amit Kapoor said that education sector of Jammu and Kashmir is weakening with each passing day as government is paying no concern.

Sharing details, Kapoor said that order of Hon'ble Supreme court to reduce 15% fees in private education institutions has not implemented till today which shows that government is not even taking the orders of Hon'ble Supreme Court seriously.

" Big private schools are not taking Jammu and Kashmir Fee Fixation Committee seriously and is not taking prior approval from this committee for changes in fee setup which shows that these institutions are showing thumb to the committee formed by government to check the complaints of unnecessary hike in fee structure by private education institution." he said.

AAP's Provincial Vice President Amit Kapoor further said that Government has also issued an advisory for buying books in September but it is of no use as education session starts in March-April and in September every student has already bought books and same is the case of directions for school bags issued by Government but unfortunately schools are not taking these advisories and directions seriously and no action taken by government against violators is a reason of it.

He also hit hard at Jammu and Kashmir Government and BJP for giving unnecessary hype and making false publicity and said that even after 3 and half years of abrogation of article 370 and 35A, Right to Education has not been implemented in Jammu and Kashmir which shows non serious approach of government.

Giving reference of change in syllabus, Kapoor said that Government norms bars any institute or education setup to change syllabus before 3 years of earlier change but this is also being violated in full public view and government is a mute spectator to this violation.

" Jammu and Kashmir High Courts' double bench  ordered for refunding the increased fees with 9% interest to parents but J&K Govt Did not implement the order and private schools got the court order stayed  from Hon'ble supreme court as JK Govt did not appear in court to  defend the case  and is still non serious about the same." said Kapoor.

He asked Jammu and Kashmir Government to shun it's non serious attitude and to take solid decisions for implementation of necessary orders and directives and also to take action against violations so that all Government orders as well as court orders are implemented in letter and spirit.
