There has been a great piece of news making headlines. It has been reported that one of the most anticipated Pakistani films is ‘The Legend Of Maula Jatt’ which featured seasoned actors like Fawad Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Mahira Khan and Humaima Malik will be released in India. 

As earlier there were many objections to the release of the film. It was rumored that this Bilal Lashari production would be released in India, but Hindu extremist political parties threatened to cause trouble if the Fawad Khan-starring movie was shown there. The movie will now be shown in Indian Punjab theaters on December 30.

A source informed the portal, “The Legend Of Maula Jatt will be released in India on December 30, 2022. It’ll be the last major release to hit Indian screens. It was released in Pakistan and elsewhere in the world on October 13, 2022, and it has crossed the Rs 200 crore mark at the worldwide box office. It is the first film from Pakistan to achieve this feat. Hence, a lot of people in India, especially the fans of the lead cast, are looking forward to seeing the film, and it can have healthy box office numbers.”

The source also suggested, “Zee Studios is mainly looking at releasing The Legend Of Maula Jatt in Delhi-NCR and Punjab. This is because it’s a Punjabi film and will have the maximum chance in the Northern belt. A clear decision on this aspect will be taken later on.”

So, it is now reported that Zee might release ‘The Legend Of Maula Jatt’. Meanwhile, speaking of the film, the popular Pakistani classic movie Maula Jatt from 1979 has been remade as The Legend of Maula Jatt. It narrates the tale of a local folk hero named Maula Jatt and how he vanquishes his adversary, Noori Natt, the head of a vicious tribe. Now, we are all excited and waiting for the official information to come out.
