Lata Mangeshkar
Indian playback singer and songwriter Lata Mangeshkar was active in the motion picture industry. She was possibly the most well-known Indian to pass away in 2022 and had been receiving regular treatment for pneumonia and COVID-19 for 28 days. Due to multiple organ failure, the 92-year-old singer passed away early on Sunday morning in a hospital in Mumbai. On Sunday, former Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar said he was "lucky" to have known Lata Mangeshkar, a great performer. Lata Mangeshkar passed away on Sunday at the age of 92.

Pandit Burju Maharaj was an Indian dancer, composer, singer, and exponent of Lucknow. He started teaching the dance at the age of thirteen. He was a descendant of the Maharaj family of Kathak dancers. He started giving performances at his father’s concerts. His father died when he was nine. He has also practised Hindustani classical and vocal. Birju Maharaj was a recipient of the Padma Vibhushan, India's second highest civilian honour, in 1986. He died on 16 January 2022 at the age of 83. His genre of profession was Indian classical.
KK Krishnakumar Kunnath
Playback singer KK, also known as Krishnakumar Kunnath, was well-known in India. On May 31, 2022, he performed live music at the Nazrul Mancha theatre in South Kolkata before passing away from a heart attack. Times Now said that KK passed away due to a severe heart attack. The singer had a chronic liver ailment and a severe lung illness, according to the post-mortem, which ruled out unnatural causes of death. In Kolkata, at the SSK government hospital, a post-mortem was performed.
Raju Srivastav
An Indian comedian, actor, and politician by the stage names Raju Srivastav and Gajodhar, Satya Prakash Srivastav passed away on September 21, 2022. Hospital reports claim that around 10.20 am on 21 September Raju Srivastava was pronounced dead. He was 58. On August 10, Raju Srivastava had a heart attack while exercising at a nearby hotel.

Indian actor Arun Bali, who died on October 7, 2022, appeared in a large number of movies and TV shows. He was 79. Ankush, Bali's son, revealed that his father was hospitalised earlier this year for Myasthenia gravis, an autoimmune condition marked by a breakdown in nerve-muscle communication. Ankush reported that although his father was benefiting from the medication, he passed away at around 4.30 am.
